To the Moon Education Welcomes You!

At To The Moon Education, our mission is to build a strength-based, learner-centered educational community where children are truly known, valued, and appropriately challenged. We believe that learning should never cost children their joy, and that every learner deserves a custom learning plan designed around their unique strengths and needs. By prioritizing connection before correction and partnering closely with families as active participants in their child’s education, we create a supportive environment where students can grow academically, emotionally, and confidently. We are not designed to replace families — we are built to partner with them.

To redefine education by creating a sustainable, innovative micro-school model that prioritizes:

  • Small ratios (4:1 learner-to-teacher)

  • Individualized academic plans

  • Experiential, hands-on learning

  • Emotional wellness and mentorship

  • Community engagement

  • Real-world skill building

By September 2026, To The Moon Education will operate in a building fully dedicated to our program — not a shared facility — allowing us to expand our sensory gym, academic labs, and specialized learning environments.

What Our Families Are Saying

At To the Moon Education, our greatest honor is partnering with families on their unique learning journeys. But don’t just take our word for it — hear directly from the parents and students who’ve experienced the heart, flexibility, and support that make our microschool community truly one of a kind.

For the last year or so I kept saying to my husband. There has got to be SOMEWHERE Ava “fits in” She didn’t qualify for a full special education classroom.she also didn’t “fit in” in a classroom of neurotypical kids.she was drained mentally from trying to “keep up” She eloped, hid in cubbies, under tables, in bathroom stalls. And she was forced to finish her days out when she mentally just didn’t have anything left. We’re 2 months in at TTME and I really feel like she’s found her school, her people. She’s not running away and hiding at school or broken when she gets home.I know there will be hard days for all of us. But I also know that she’s healing, she’s growing and she’s going to do great things and that’s because of all the staff , friends and most of all Mrs. Amanda! Thank you🥰

My Olivia shares so much of the same story I’ve read from many of you. She misses school, shares snippets about her day (sometimes 😉), and is learning how to advocate for herself in healthy, confident ways. WIN. She’s doing driving-permit-ready learning in a pace and space that feels fun and low-pressure. Apparently, the class has been learning about and talking through all the different road signs lately—and oh my goodness… we laugh so much at what these kids come up with for what the signs mean. I just love TTME—the whole-child approach and the genuine commitment behind it. It’s beautiful.

This school has been the most welcoming environment my son has been a part of and he’s been a part of a lot of school environments. He is building all the soft skills needed for success in a kind, caring environment. Amanda, has done an amazing job of assembling a group of educators who are equipped to work with your child, regardless of where they are socially or academically.

The friendships my kids have acquired at school is invaluable! On top of that the staff is so dedicated to these kids. Working with these teachers every day is a blessing because we each bring something different to the table! It’s so nice having a team that works so well together. I appreciate every single one of them!

We entered TTME with 3 classes from her old school that were incomplete and within about 2 weeks at TTME she had that work done and then went on to enroll in 4 AP classes and she’s going to take classes at the community college before too long hopefully and will probably end up with not only her high school diploma but her associate’s degree as well. At her old school, by traditional standards she wasn’t even close to passing and now she’s carrying a 5.0. Thanks to her hard work and effort and what staff at TTME pour into her daily.

My daughter has always been “good at school” (grade-wise), but this is the first time I feel like school is genuinely being good back to her. I can tell she’s getting what she needs from TTME. Not just the academics, but a truly well-rounded educational/emotional/social experience. This is also the first time I’ve had a child be upset about missing school! It feels like upside down world that I’ve had to argue with my child that they’re too sick to attend 😆

Thank you to every single teacher, staff member, and volunteer who has taught Landen both academically and also emotionally (as I know there are classes like couch conversations that are teaching social skills, emotional intelligence, etc.) I cannot thank you all enough for giving him a place where he feels safe, welcomed, cared for, and happy. This is his 9th grade year and it’s literally been the happiest year of school he’s ever had. Sometimes Andrew and I just high five each other over how thrilled we are about TTME. I cannot believe that there is a school where he can be both happy and learn so much. TTME is everything I hoped it would be!
